On one hand, we'd "rather go naked than wear fur" (PETA totally reeled us in with that slogan!). But on the
flip side, the luxurious sensation of a soft pelt grazing against the cheek can send a shiver of excitement up and down ones spine. It's quite a conundrum ... so
what's a gal to do? Have your cake and eat it too with the season's most insulating trend: faux fur. From coats and shrugs, to fur-trimmed sweaters and gloves,
faux is en vogue again.

Big-name designers are leading the faux fur charge. An opulent, blonde faux rabbit fur jacket from Juicy looks great-and slightly unexpected-when dressed down
with your favorite Juicy sweats or a pair of jeans. For a night on the town, pair a Twelfth St. Cynthia
Vincent cropped, black and brown stripped faux-pelt boasting puffed, three-quarter length sleeves with a slinky camisole and skinny black pants. Or, for
dress-up, try on a calf-length, wool tweed overcoat trimmed with a wide, faux fur collar from Gwen Stefani's clothing line, L.A.M.B.

Since the synthetic stuff doesn't have to cost a fortune, shoppers on a budget won't be left out in the cold. Swing by your local Target (or shop online at Target.com) and check out a black faux beaver capelet or a white faux fur evening bag, both items are ideal for
holiday soirees. Pop by Old Navy (or log on to Oldnavy.com) for faux fur accents like vintage-inspired wraps
complete with satin lining and brooches, cotton cardigans trimmed in artificial fur, and quilted, mock fur lined hats complete ear flaps.
