This fall's focus on everything classic brings T-shirts back into the forefront, and Vintage Tees are a big favorite - and if you can find something from the '80s on Ebay or an older sibling's closet, go for it.
Ragged Tees are also back in style-that's an easy one, though-all you've gotta do is hack off the sleeves. If your mom buys your school clothes, she may prefer for you to hack up a cheap Hanes undershirt than your brand new Juicy Jam men's Tee from Neiman Marcus ($64).
Layered Tees are also a new trend. Remember when you had to wear a short-sleeve over a long-sleeve Tee to get that look? Well, now you can buy a tee with two sets of sleeves-long and short. The long sleeves poking out of your shirt come in a variety of designs. Urban Outfitters sells these for about $32.
Plain solid Tees at the Gap are selling cheap right now, from $12.99 to about $20, while at Nordstrom you can find classic Tees like the Paul Frank Julius and Friends Tee for $21. That one's cool-looking black with a cute white design. Nordstrom also sells the Lucky ‘Wave' Ringer Tee for $36-a trippy little number reminiscent of the '70s, dude.
Tees with messages are also back in a big way. Express yourself, but don't wear it on your sleeve-wear it across your chest. Hot Topic sells some great sarcastic Tees: "If I Got Smart With You, How Would You Know?" mouths off a black tee for $16.
Wiztees.com sells some good ones too. "I Left My Muscles In My Other Shirt," "Yes I Own A Pickup Truck, No I Won't Help You Move" and "Common Sense Ain't That Common" all sell for $17.95, as does "Just Remember You're Unique...Just Like Everyone Else."
