 Things are definitely heating up on THE OC!! Kaitlin, Marissa's little sister, is back to mix things up!! Don't let that school-girl exterior fool you, she's not as demure as you think!! Her look is mostly, hip, tough, punk and a little romantic. She loves leggings, tights and striped socks, with Converse and Chanel tennis shoes and Na NA boots. Look out for lots of Miss 60 , Fornarina and a fabulous cowl necked black stretchy mini-dress by Parasuco !! Her jewelry is silver and punk, with lots of skulls and guitars, and the occasional touch of pearls!
KEY NEW FIND: The newest trend sweeping the OC is a line of bags and belts called Tylie Malibu. Featuring funky retro styling This growing brand was discovered one sunny morning while I was shopping in Manhattan Beach. Their line includes cute bags, shearling boots and studded belts made of high-quality, colorful suedes and leathers. The boots are unique with cool cutout designs and embroidery up the back. The belts have a laid back rockstar style which sets them apart from other brands. The purses are soft, unstructured and totally hip. Look for Tylie Malibu's "Eden Utility" bag on Marissa in this episode: It's buttery yellow suede and attached cute rainbow charm make it irresistable! She'll also be carrying a chocolate "Braided Deer" bag in a later episode. Keep your eyes open!
"Tylie" is designer Lisa Izad's middle name. She grew up in Malibu wanting (and not finding) the perfect bag. Her creative sensibilities took over and she has been in business for five years.
